The Boy Who Heard Too Much
An interesting story regarding phone phreaking and a few of its practitioners, namely Matthew Weigman. The mention of Steve Wozniak in the article reminded me of another piece I found a while ago, including a reprint of an October 1971 article in Esquire, discussing phone phreaking. Almost forty years ago, people were hacking AT&T’s premier network. Today, people are hacking AT&T’s premier phone. And in both instances, there are bits of Apple involvement. ;-)
