(Just for the record, there are four active Linux servers with replicated Kerberos, replicated OpenLDAP, replicated DNS, replicated DHCP, Apache, PostgreSQL, Samba, Sendmail, et cetera. I learned more with all this stuff than I learned in all my years of college.)
