Vehicle Popularity
It seems as though every time I head to my local auto parts store, they’re always out of oil filters for the four cylinder Subaru lineup, specifically the Purolator ones. Coincidentally, there are tons of WRXs on the road, driven by young kids finding that the cars are reasonably affordable and easy to extract plenty of power and speed out of. Unfortunately for me, and quite unlike the situation with my last car, not enough of them have been run off of the road or into the ground to make the usual maintenance items readily available on a regular basis.
Oh well, time to give the Mobil 1 filter a try tomorrow…
