So, Texas barely beats a Nebraska team that is talented on defense—courtesy of SEC defensive mind Bo Pelini—but nowhere near as talented as Alabama’s, and they (Texas) are still somehow the leading candidate to play Alabama in the national championship game? Never mind that Alabama’s offense put up monster numbers on one of the nation’s best defenses, and limited one of the nation’s “best” college quarterbacks to a miserable performance (though it was great to see the tears that can cure cancer, courtesy of Saint Timmay)…
I’m not saying anyone should be crowning Alabama as the national champions just yet. You can wait until the idiots running the BCS have Texas play (and lose to) them for that, when TCU and even Cincinnati look to be more deserving. Colt McCoy ain’t Vince Young, y’all…
