This seems hard to believe, but I’ll have to take their word for it, and yes, I realize it reflects the total installed base and that Windows Mobile had years of a head start on the iPhone (the Newton notwithstanding). Coincidentally, I just retired my trusty Windows Mobile phone (said without a hint of sarcasm, a true rarity for me) for a BlackBerry Tour, which of course meant BIS went down for the vast majority of the day. I suppose you could say I’ve never been one to blindly follow the crowd. I just wonder what the crowd will follow after the iPhone, as I suspect that time will come sooner rather than later.
