Android Apps Hit 20,000
…while the iPhone app store is upwards of 100,000, the vast majority of which are either absolute garbage, or fancy wrappers around web sites. Many iPhone fanboys tout this figure as a sign of the iPhone’s “superiority,” but the Mac has proven that it really isn’t quantity, but quality. I don’t want ten mediocre IM apps, I need Adium. I don’t care if a phone has 100,000 apps or 100 apps. I do care if the two or three apps I can’t live without are on a given phone.
